Welcome to the New England Morgan Horse Association! With your membership comes an opportunity to join hundreds of other Morgan owners and lovers in the New England region and throughout the country in celebrating the versatility of the great Morgan horse.
Morgan activity is thriving throughout the New England region and as a member of the NEMHA you are guaranteed many opportunities to enjoy a variety of Morgan horse activities as well as the camaraderie of Morgan enthusiasts. As an organization, we represent Morgan versatility at its very best. Our owners use their Morgans for pleasure and trail riding and driving; carriage competition from local to international events; dressage events; horse showing from local to national events; competitive trail riding; reining; and as treasured back yard pals. Whether they own one or many Morgans, our members always enjoy sharing their Morgan experiences with their NEMHA friends. Our membership includes officers in other state and national Morgan organizations, long time Morgan professionals, renowned Morgan breeders, instructors whose lesson programs showcase Morgan horses, and the many people who own Morgans just for the fun!
The New England Morgan Horse Association is a proud sponsor/supporter of the following events:
- New England Morgan Horse Association Circuit Champions Banquet and Get-Away-Weekend
- Mid-winter clinics and/or social get- togethers
- The New England Regional Morgan Horse Show- always the last full week of July, Tri-County Fairgrounds, Northampton, MA
- Celebrate The Morgan Horse at Open Barn activities throughout the region-weekends throughout September
- Equine Affaire - Mid November at The Eastern States Exposition, West Springfield, MA
The club is as diversified and versatile as the horse it celebrates and welcomes input from members as to events that YOU would like to add to the NEMHA activities schedule.
In addition, NEMHA members are eligible to compete for prestigious year end awards and also receive discounts from the following vendors:

The New England Morgan Horse Association will also be undertaking its newest venture as a membership benefit: publishing the NEMHA Newsletter, a quarterly that will focus on all of the ways we New Englanders enjoy our marvelous Morgan horses. There will be features on Morgans and Families; Youth; Carriage Driving; Equitation; Morgan Meanderings (news items); and other member-generated areas of interest. Let us know what is happening with the Morgans in your world and we will share your “happenings” in our Newsletter and on our website, NEMHA.com.
