Alexandria Warner

Whether it be Mass Morgan or Oklahoma, Alex is always ready to win!  Getting ready consists of hours of traveling to the barn, practicing sometimes with multiple trainers for hours and shopping to get the best outfits and accessories.  Every aspect of Alex is perfection when it comes to getting in the ring to compete.

Alex started riding at John Bennett Stables at age 7. On her first horse, Wrigley’s Dollar Legacy, Alex was the star of the B rated circuit in New England hardly ever losing a class.  Not much has changed since those days!  Alex continues to be a consistent winner in the Huntseat Equitation division at top Morgan shows throughout the country. She now rides at Taylor River Farm and trains with Sarah Gove, Richard Boulé, Kristen Farley and Becky Fish. Alex is the  consummate equestrienne whose rail work is flawless, patterns are perfect and performances without irons effortless.

So who is the girl behind all the ribbons and trophies? We all know Alex is passionate about riding but there is so much more to her than that! Alex lives in Pomfret, Connecticut with her mom and dad (Deborah and Richard Warner)  AKA… her biggest cheerleaders, and 9 poodles.  She attends Woodstock Academy where she is active in school clubs such as the Suicide Prevention and Education Committee and Gay/Straight Alliance.  Alex facilitates events to increase teen and parent awareness of teen suicide and to spread tolerance of homosexuality and diversity. This girl does it all! In addition to riding Alex is a talented artist and photographer. Her favorite band is All Time Low and she is often noticed listening to them while preparing to ride.  Alex is not only an awesome rider but also an amazing friend.  She is always there when you need her and consequently has many good friends!  Like winning ribbons and trophies, Alex is always winning the hearts of everyone she meets. Alex’s plan for the future is to win the World Champion Huntseat Equitation 14-17 division. She would also like to try other divisions such as Park Saddle. Good Luck Alex!

Alex, with your level of commitment we know you will always be as remarkable in the show ring as you are in everything you undertake!  Congratulations!
